I tried installing ubuntu 16.04 lts amd64:
I shrunk the C: volume by 25GB.
I ran rufus to make bootable usb.
I disabled secure boot.
I then proceeded to install ubuntu in the unallocated 25 GB.
I formatted 20GB as ext4, and mousepoint to /.
I then formatted 5GB as ext4,

while installing, it crashed midway saying the grub was not installed
(?). im expecting to have the ubuntu successfully install however it
crashed and was only to email this using the try version.
