Night Light was previously working on my hybrid Nvidia laptop before the
recent changes that switched Wayland to X11. I manually switched back to
Wayland, but now Night Light is not working.
Why are the changes that caused these bugs not being rolled back?

To clarify, all future installs with hybrid Nvidia graphics will now
default to Wayland? So users won't have to work around this issue by
manually selecting Wayland in the log in screen? Cannot expect the
average user to figure this out.
I am unclear why this bug was not rolled back once it was id

Yes, it is still an issue and happens every time. I have been dealing
with it since I first installed 14.04 back in early January 2014.
It happens whether I use System Settings > Appearance > Behavior >
Enable workspaces, or manually configure workspaces using CCSM > General
Options > Desktop Size

for bug fixing it is important to clarify what version resulted in what
variation of the bug so that devs can look at the changes between
versions and figure out where things went from bad to worse. Most
developers don't have

to prevent bookmark scanning. Thus you bug is specific to 13.10, so you
should create a separate bug report. This will make sure that the
community fixes both bugs, not just one and missing the other.

I have over a thousand bookmarks, though I am not sure exactly how many.
I too am experiencing this problem and it is lowering productivity

Radeon 6950 with Catalyst 12.3 and am still having compiz utilize 2-3%
CPU on idle and 50-100% while moving windows. I will try upgrading my

I recently clean installed Ubuntu 12.04 and had no problems mounting the

using about 63.2 MiB, but over a period of a day or so of uptime it
grows to 2.9 GB, just as comment #9 states. I have not yet found the
