Hi,
I think this is a Unity bug, but I'm not really sure (could also be
related to Chrome). It seems to have something to do with the launcher.
Sometimes I get these small rectangles on the top of the screen, which
don't go away, until I log out and log back in again.

GNU Readline shortcuts to move forward a word, because pressing Left Alt
+ a key tries to open a menu option. For example, Alt+f opens the file
menu. For some reason, the Alt key is bound to the menubar

Cheese still hangs on my machine, but the webcam does work correctly.
Just tried using gstreamer on the commandline, which gives me a window
with the webcam stream:

I can confirm that removing the ubi-webcam.py file, killing ubiquity,
and running the installer again (copying all files over again), works
for me. Had this issue on a Lenovo X121e (Intel version) with today's
daily CD image (March 15).

I have the same problem with an ATI Mobility 2600 HD card, on Ubuntu
Hardy Heron (laptop is a HP 8510p).
Glxgears and screen savers flash black every few seconds. With Glxgears
it seems to get worse if I move the mouse around (switching focus
between windows as I enabled focus follows mouse).

the default settings were to Do nothing when battery power is
critically low, so I changed it to Hibernate.
Unfortunately this does not work, it just keeps going until the battery
is drained.

This was also what caused problems on my system. I had
number_of_desktops set to 4 as well as hsize set to 4 (probably some
setting that was still in there from Feisty). This caused the workspace
switcher applet to crash once in a while, and be really slow when
clicking on different workspaces

I also had Envy installed to get the new Nvidia drivers. Apparantly my
VMware didn't work anymore, and the packages are not available in Gutsy
