[Bug 1820409] Re: Audio stutter after update
Hm, that was a bit early. Now it has "happened" ONCE with the 5.1.0-050100rc2-generic kernel. I think the battery of the laptop was pretty low at the time. Youtube audio went totally out of sync with video. Restarted to 4.15.0-43 to see what that does with youtube. It had pauses in getting the video (the circle going round) but when picture came back it was still in sync with audio. Restarted back to 5.1.0-050100rc2-generic again. Now everything was ok there. Also computer shows i have powersave governor on. Another notebook with (Celeron N3350 and) powersave has no problems at all though. I should probably also try a clean install. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1820409 Title: Audio stutter after update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1820409/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1820409] Re: Audio stutter after update
Yes, tried a few back now. 4.15.0-43-generic is the last good one. -44 has the weird things, Youtube video goes slower (or stops for while) and then speeds too much and audio gets out of sync with that. In VLC audio stutter starts at about after first 10 to 12 seconds.

[Bug 1820409] [NEW] Audio stutter after update
Public bug reported: After some update: Audio stutters in VLC Video and audio stutters in Youtube I think cpu usage might be bigger in VLC too, over 20% vs. below 20% earlier (one thread gets full 100%?) So in my case it triggers when i connect some usb device (mouse, usb-flash-memory, phone). Sometimes it calms down after unmount and unplug of usb-memory, and does not come back until i logout of lubuntu desktop (and login and plugin again). Another way of triggering 100% is in my case having usb-memory plugged in and starting firefox. This firefox has estonian id-card plugin installed. [Bug 1309909] [NEW] no automatic connection to 3G internet
Public bug reported: installed Lubuntu 14.04. What i want to do: Push the start button of the laptop computer, after that it logins automagically to the desktop and connects to internet via usb gsm 3G dongle. What happens: (somehow managet to find the place to setup the connection, why wont it pop out if i put in the dongle? not to mention the nm-applet is not coming up even if put to lxde startup settings) I cheked every possible checkbox for automatic connection (nm-applet i think) and entered sim card pin code and press save button. After restart nothing works, it asks for some keyring password, it asks for sim unlock pin, and still does not connect because Mobile Broadband Connections are not activated. Help me god! Its like nothing has changed for 4 years since i first got that huawei dongle and installed ubuntu-gnome. Could you please fix it once and for all. I have no idea where to report the bugs. I read some of the reports, answers are like this: no, this is not pam-module bug, this is gnome-login bug etc. I dont care and i dont know those specific packages! I just know that things dont work for at least 4 years. Would someone with knowledge, please report the correct bugs, and make them to correct those bugs. Thank you!
