Could somebody tell me a little about the release process and timing?
When will this fix get released?
I'm very affected by this and other unity-2d bugs. I see that this has
been marked for 5.14, and other fixes I'm waiting on marked for 5.12.1.
When will these get to Precise? I'm getting scared
For me the keys are working. The issue is that it does not cycle through
all of the windows. Only the previous window is available. If you have
more than two windows opens they will have an icon in the popup, but you
can not get to them. You can only cycle between window #1 and #2.

Are you running KDE nightlies? I had this error because the nightly KDE
messed up my Qt config. To fix this, you need to (re)move your
Trolltech.conf file so a new one can be built, like the KDE bug report
says:

I'm using Catalyst 8.01 with Ubuntu 7.10 and a Mobility Radeon X1400.
Suspend/resume works when the fglrx module is loaded (previously it
didn't).
Switching to an FGLRX VT, whether it's the only X session or not, locks
my machine up hard. I can't even change to a text VT and shut down that
way.
Does this have anything to do with it?

My problem sounds a lot like this one. I also have an Inspiron
6400/E1505.
My video card is a Mobility Radeon X1400 (open-source Avivo driver), but
since I have the same problem at the command line and the original
reporter has Intel graphics, I'm gonna guess this is some kind of BIOS
issue.

The bad stack trace is likely due to Bug 74691... at least that's the
problem with mine.
I also have a lot of Kaffeine crashes (using Gutsy)... it doesn't really
work. Ever.

Oddly enough, video plays (albiet badly) when I'm using Xgl, but with
regular X, Kaffeine crashes. A *lot*.

I respectfully submit that on OS which doesn't let developers debug is
not a very useful OS.
If the choice is between breaking ABI (while two months away from 7.10)
and breaking the most basic of functionality for an entire Ubuntu
release, well, I should hope that the choice would be obvious.
