[Bug 727636] Re: compiz crashed with SIGSEGV in nux::CairoGraphics::GetBitmap()
I had this issue on a 02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV730XT [Radeon HD 4670] -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/727636 Title: compiz crashed with SIGSEGV in nux::CairoGraphics::GetBitmap() -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 666441] Re: Upgraded to ubuntu 10.10 - screen flickers
I am experiencing flicker whenever some transparency is added or removed on my monitors. For example when i unhide my dock or terminal application. If i keep Tilda (with compiz transparency applied) visible, no flicker what-so-ever happens. I have had the exact same behavior with xserver-xorg-video-radeon as with fglrx Ubuntu 10.10 install (not upgraded) AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 635 Processor Linux [computer-name] 2.6.35-23-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 24 11:55:36 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux *-display description: VGA compatible controller product: RV730XT [Radeon HD 4670] vendor: ATI Technologies Inc physical id: 0 bus info: p...@:02:00.0 version: 00 width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm pciexpress msi vga_controller bus_master cap_list rom configuration: driver=radeon latency=0 resources: irq:45 memory:d000-dfff memory:fdff-fdff ioport:e000(size=256) memory:fdfc-fdfd -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/666441 Title: Upgraded to ubuntu 10.10 - screen flickers -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 666441] Re: Upgraded to ubuntu 10.10 - screen flickers
Actually, doing some further testing, i figured it only happens with Chromium maximized. I'm using Chromium with custom borders, that might have something to do with it. It looks like i've mistaken this bug for http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19683 ** Bug watch added: code.google.com/p/chromium/issues #19683 http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19683 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/666441 Title: Upgraded to ubuntu 10.10 - screen flickers -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 292521] Re: External LCD monitor is always the main monitor
I thought I had this bug as well, but for me the solution was very very simple. I just dragged my gnome-bars to the desired screen. These settings are remembered after a reboot (have not tried rebooting without secondary monitor though) so for me it is okay. -- External LCD monitor is always the main monitor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292521 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
