[Bug 666441] Re: Upgraded to ubuntu 10.10 - screen flickers

2010-12-13 Thread Joost Timmerman
I am experiencing flicker whenever some transparency is added or removed
on my monitors. For example when i unhide my dock or terminal
application. If i keep Tilda (with compiz transparency applied) visible,
no flicker what-so-ever happens. I have had the exact same behavior with
xserver-xorg-video-radeon as with fglrx

Ubuntu 10.10 install (not upgraded)
AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 635 Processor
Linux [computer-name] 2.6.35-23-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 24 11:55:36 UTC

[Bug 666441] Re: Upgraded to ubuntu 10.10 - screen flickers

2010-12-13 Thread Joost Timmerman
Actually, doing some further testing, i figured it only happens with
Chromium maximized. I'm using Chromium with custom borders, that might
have something to do with it. It looks like i've mistaken this bug for

[Bug 292521] Re: External LCD monitor is always the main monitor

2009-02-20 Thread Joost Timmerman
I thought I had this bug as well, but for me the solution was very very
simple. I just dragged my gnome-bars to the desired screen. These
settings are remembered after a reboot (have not tried rebooting without
secondary monitor though) so for me it is okay.
