That seems to fix the crash. Unfortunately, I just realized that none of
the axes seem to be tied to an actual switch on my keyboard, so I can't
calibrate it or stop it from throwing some games out of control. Yet
another brilliant product by Microsoft :)

Yes, it still crashes, with the same error. It just doesn't seem to
generate a crash report or any debug output.

That doesn't seem to create a core dump, though, and apport doesn't
detect the crash.

Public bug reported:
Apport alerted about a kernel oops shortly I had unmounted and
disconnected an external FAT32 drive. I'm afraid I can't be more helpful
than that, but that's what happened immediately after I disconnected the
drive in the dmesg output.

I thought Ubuntu wouldn't provide support if I used custom
components, but perhaps that only applies to commercial customers...
Anyway, I can't currently reproduce this bug in Konqueror 4.2.2 (though
I still can't load the applet for an apparently unrelated reason). I'm
guessing whatever was
Yes, this is still present in 9.04. I'd attach the crash output. but I'm
currently using my own kernel, so it'd be invalid.

It would crash every time Konsole was launched. Interestingly, it did
not crash when embedded in another application like Dolphin. The problem
seems to have resolved itself after an update, so it may have just been
due to a broken package.
