Same thing here. My locale is set to es_ES.UTF-8 and Firefox 3 uses
that locale no matter what value is assigned to the
general.useragent.locale setting.
However I can launch it in English with either of these commands:
$ firefox -UILocale en-US
$ LANG=en_US.UTF-8 firefox

In KDE4 unicode filenames are displayed incorrectly. The pendrive is
mounted with these options:
/dev/sdc1 on /media/UDISK type vfat
(rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=hal,uid=1000)
In KDE3 the filenames are correct. These are the mount options:

I've tested Kubuntu Herd4 desktop i386 on two different machines and on
both it boots and starts KDE OK, so the issue I reported is no longer
there. However, on halting both machines, the CD is not ejected
automatically nor can I eject it manually. Still, the system does not

Just before checking file systems there's an error activating swap that
says mount: function not implemented. I've checked the CD and all the
checksums are OK. The CD was burned from the feisty-desktop-i386.iso.
