[Bug 1970088] Re: Resume fail after suspend with NVIDIA driver on Ubuntu 22.04

2022-04-28 Thread Juno Computers
I also have the same issue. The only way in is through ssh and
restarting gdm. But this logs me out of the previous session.

[Bug 1803881] Re: thermal thermal_zone4: failed to read out thermal zone (-61)

2021-10-08 Thread Juno Computers
Hi, I no longer have the laptop in which I used to report the issue. On
the other hand the issue shows up on 2 other laptops that I have, the
main difference is the thermal number.

I have test cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone(number error)/type and
it does say iwlwifi_1.

Using linux-firmware 1.187.17 on Ubuntu 20.04

[2.044581] thermal thermal_zone0: failed to read out thermal zone

[Bug 1922111] acpidump.txt

apport information

** Attachment added: "acpidump.txt"

https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1922111/+attachment/5482858/+files/acpidump.txt

** Description changed:

I realized that acpitz-acpi-0 is not well calibrated and it will spike
- at random times to 70+ for a second or two and it will come back down to
- 45C which is the same as Package id 0 from coretemp-isa-.
+ at random times to 70C+ for a second or two and it will come back down
+ to 45C which is the same as Package id 0 from coretemp-isa-.

The reason that I am reporting this is because my fan sensor is linked
to acpitz-acpi-0 and the fan will just spike randomly due to this issue.

[Bug 1906102] Re: Drains lots of power under s2idle, can't wake up when using Deep

2020-11-29 Thread Juno Computers
I can see that Intel dropped support for S3 and replaced it with S0ix
(s2idle). I remove all kernel paramets and the battery still drains a
lot.
