[Bug 1431332] Re: sddm not starting after upgrade
Why is this invalid? Nothing has changed. Today I was surfing with chrome when I noticed that the panel and application launcher and whole desktop actually disappeared. Went black. After a reboot I log in but all there is is the black screen and mouse pointer. I've tried to flush .kde and .config directories, but nothing changes. I had a backup of my working home directory, but restoring it does not help either. I had created another user, with which the desktop is wstill orking. Filed another bug about it. - Karsta 2015-05-16 22:25 GMT+03:00 dwmw2 dw...@infradead.org: If you can use the AnyConnect protocol instead of IPSec, then OpenConnect shouldn't have the 7½ hour disconnection issue that you see with vpnc. ok. Here we go again. After my previous post I did a fresh install. All good. I updated a few times, and still all good. I had decided not to update any more, because I had a feeling that it will break up again. [Bug 937522] Re: rdp clipboard sync doesn't work anymore.
I have the latest Kubuntu 14.04. Recently all rdp clients began to ignore clipboard both ways. Remmina, rdesktop and KRDC as well. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/937522 Title: rdp clipboard sync doesn't work anymore. [Bug 1307127] Re: Too slow to use, and feature missing!
I can verify this as well, and big thanks Tpugliese. I almost gave up on gThumb but that workaround gave it some more time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1307127 Title: Too slow to use, and feature missing! [Bug 1266303] Re: /usr/sbin/locale-gen: line 243: 5853 Floating point exception(core dumped)
This happened to me after upgrade from 13.10 to 14.04 final. But running: sudo locale-gen --purge en_US en_US.UTF-8 seemed to help. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1266303 Title: /usr/sbin/locale-gen: line 243: 5853 Floating point exception(core dumped) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/langpack-locales/+bug/1266303/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 879334 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879334 Without changing anything anywhere, the nightmare begun again. Locks up as long as for ten minutes. [Bug 1073913] Re: Nautilus list view is constantly adjusting size of the columns
Not only makes one nuts, but is dangerous. Anyway, seems like it settled down when i changed the order of visible columns from: Name-Size-Type-Date Modified to: Name-Size-Date Modified-Type. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1073913 Title: Nautilus list view is constantly adjusting size of the columns To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1073913/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1006446] Re: nfs4 causes enormous load in ubuntu-server making it unusable
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 879334 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879334 Ok, this is my workaround. I got it working by mounting from the client's fstab with these options: rw,rsize=32768,wsize=32768 Are the sizes optimal for performance, i have not tested, but seems pretty ok. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1006446 Title: nfs4 causes enormous load in ubuntu-server making it unusable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1006446/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1006446] Re: nfs4 causes enormous load in ubuntu-server making it unusable
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 879334 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879334 I have a 32bit Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS as an nfs server, which has been working ever since with Mint 13 64bit client among many others. I haven't changed anything on it, but normal updates. Now I installed a fresh 64bit Ubuntu 12.10 (3.5.0-17 kernel) as a client and now i have this issue when using this client. Load does not climb up on the server, but CPU usage does. Is this really a server-only issue, since all i changed was my client?
