[Bug 1834085] Re: Bluetooth touchpad (Apple Magic Trackpad) disconnects every few minutes
Hi folks. Just want to chime in that I also have the same issue on the 22.04 beta with the magic trackpad 1, where it disconnects at random intervals. I found some old posts around, some dating back to 2015 with the same issue... no dice with most of their proposed solution. - Issue persists with both the internal Bluetooth adapter and a dongle. - I seem to not have the issue with the apple magic mouse, surprisingly - disabling upower doesn't seem to help, and just makes the system unstable. - In `sudo btmon` I often see an HCI event mode change at random intervals to exit sniffing. However, when the trackpad disconnects, I see a HCI event mode change reporting a connection timeout (0x08). A lot of the suggested fixes do have power settings in common, though it seems. But disabling power or suspend would either lead to, at best, a lot of battery changes, or at worst, an unstable system like I have seen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1834085 Title: Bluetooth touchpad (Apple Magic Trackpad) disconnects every few minutes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1834085/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 1779045] Re: hangs on boot from suspend, does not transition to login
Hello! Sorry for the link mix up, this should be the correct one: http://chortle.ccsu.edu/imagePuzzles/PartIextra/randomPix.gif After restarting from suspending the screen flickers from black to the multicolored pixels. It will occasionally "move" ie. the pixels will move locations, but it is still incoherent and complete noise. This persists for many minutes, rendering the login screen unreachable, requiring a hard reset of the desktop to reboot, where it is solved after the restart. Thank you! [Bug 1779045] [NEW] hangs on boot from suspend, does not transition to login
Public bug reported: rebooted desktop from suspend ~24 hrs. Screens (2 monitors) looked like the image here: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i=j==s=images==rja=8=2ahUKEwjr84KuufXbAhUFY6wKHaUAD_UQjRx6BAgBEAU=http%3A%2F%2Fchortle.ccsu.edu%2FimagePuzzles%2FSection10%2Fsection10puzzles.html=AOvVaw07RS3vqIKnwkN3sD39H0Dg=1530243986234703 with subtle movment occationally.
