Please make sure this gets fixed, X support for dual monitors is poor
enough (ie you cant dual screen with multiple graphics cards, a feature
in windows since at least win2000) without crippling it even more with a
broken Unity.

volume control is on and default to that on startup...

Sound switches to my monitor with USB sound
The issue here is that when ear candy starts it scans the list available
sound cards and locks onto the ether the last card or the card with usb
in the name..
My reasoning was that if you have a usb device plugged in you probably
want to use it... (just like the stereo head phones people are used

The thumbnails already exist.. they are in the odt files... all this
requires is a gconf key and about 2 lines of bash to extract the icon
from the zip file like thunar does.. in a package
I can do the code and gconf if some one can package it.
