Same problem here on a eeepc 1015, the device is RT3090. I downloaded the driver for 3090 from ralink web site and it works fine. I thought I should mention that since everyone seems to have the problem with rt2860. Output of lspci -k : Network controller: Ralink corp. RT3090 Wireless 802.11n
