I've added Cinnamon meta to Xubuntu 16.04 LTS. Running Cinnamon
(2.8.6-1ubuntu1), no clipboard manager I've tried will display in the
tray. I've installed Parcellite, ClipIt, and Clipman; but none will
show in the tray.

Some of this may still be cups related. My OKI 331dn now installs with
duplex defaulting to off. Problem is, when that's the case, the printer
dialog can't be set to duplex on--it's greyed-out.
If I change the default to duplex on, then the user can change the
setting.

Most of these problems were fixed by replacing NetworkManager with WICD.
NetworkManager was actually losing the connection with the printers,
even though I could surf the net all day long.
Note to self: Never, never, never leave the default NetworkManager
installed.

I have 2, completely different, network printers on the LAN, OKI Dell.
Both have weird errors on Xubuntu; starting from 13.04, continuing to 13.10,
and now 14.04.
Both work perfectly from Windows 7.
In the past, xubuntu lost the location of both printers every night; I
ntp is overkill. ntpdate is all that *should* be required.

OK Here's a fix:
Search for the directory on your system containing libgutenprint.so.3
Open a terminal there, then enter the command:
sudo ln -s libgutenprint.so.3 libgutenprint.so.2
What I don't understand is why a corrected photoprint.deb hasn't been
pushed-out as an update for all currently

work around in to uninstall pidgin-skype. For some reason (or possibly
no reason at all) similar reports have been marked private...not sure

There was a kgpg-kde4 listed in the hearty repo. I uninstalled kgpg
then installed kgpg-kde4, but every attempt to run the program returned
errors as follows:
$ kgpg-kde4
bash: kgpg-kde4: command not found
$ kgpg
bash: /usr/bin/kgpg: No such file or directory
