Hi! i have the same problem on jaunty alpha4. editing the kernel line with acpi=off solve the problem but then i can't use bluetooth and cpu scaling (and all the other acpi-based functions); i'm on a toshiba Portege 4010. There is also another problem with acpi, i can't use FN+* combo. --
