After many hours of tinkering around, I made the headset with microphone
to be fully recognized and working on Dell Latitude 7389! The
combination was to set pin 0x21 to "Headphones" as Jeff metioned using
hdajackretask. Then, setting the ALSA config to model "alc256-asus-mic"
adding "options
I can confirm this still occurs in Ubuntu 20.04 on my Dell Latitude 7389 (also
using ALC3253).
On a fresh install, the audio jack does not even recognize when a headset is
connected at all. After following Jeff Conner suggestion on comment #5, it now

Whenever I close the lid of my laptop or hit the power button, my PC is
unable to suspend correctly. The system shutdowns with no indication
that it ever enters the suspension state (no blinking power LED) and
when I turn it on again it boots to the BIOS and goes to the GRUB

Hi. I'm a user of another distro (gentoo), and found this bug while
googling for a problem I'm having. I'm using a realtek-based USB3 to
RJ45 gigabit adapter. This plugs directly into my laptop (not any sort
of hub as with the DELL hubs above), which is a Toshiba Radius
P20W-C-103, skylake based,

No errors
-I can access to usb in boot menu
(tested in a usb with guadalinex v9. I can use in live mode)
-I can change options in bios and save correctly
(tested with sound beeper option. Changing "disabled" to "enabled", save
changes and exit)

I have been trying the kernel with amd-staging provided by
nukedathlonman and it totally works! The system boots up to a completely
functional environment at full-resolution. I've also tried Team Fortress
2 and Rocket League and it's pretty damn close to Windows performance,

By the way, my apologies for spamming a little bit out there. My mouse

Hello Dan,
Our bridge had a "hiccup" this morning and grabbed the description and
summary from a previously mirrored bug so our apologies. I update the
summary and the actual description is what was displayed in comment #1.
The syslog file is also correct.
