[Bug 279693] Re: Regression Sata hard disk unable to mount after upgrade 2.6.27 generic kernel

2009-03-18 Thread Lukasz Wisniewski
installing linux-rt kernel solved my problem, the latest available
version is 2.6.27-3 so less then -5 where problems start.

This is only a workaround (suggested here
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/236335/comments/1)
yet a good one since I don't have the IDE option in my BIOS.

[Bug 279693] Re: Regression Sata hard disk unable to mount after upgrade 2.6.27 generic kernel

2009-02-25 Thread Lukasz Wisniewski
same problem here, ubuntu 8.10 (Linux 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Thu Jan
29 19:24:39 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux) this is a really annoying bug,
freezes access to disk for half a minute, causing for example music
stoping to play, preventing launching new applications... though for
instance i am able to switch between windows or scroll the already
opened web page in the firefox - this MUST be fixed before 9.04

[Bug 238823] Re: [MASTER] Firefox 3 RC1: color (grey) used for urls in the awesome bar make them hard to read in multiple themes (human, etc.)

2008-10-09 Thread Lukasz Wisniewski
I can confirm above, this happens with default theme! Please release fix
for this before 30 Oct, we don't want one of the most important
applications under Ubuntu to get unreadable.

It also does work with Banshee 0.13.2 so for me it's a rhythmbox issue,
great integration there btw :D

[Bug 152362] Re: icedtea-java7-plugin always crashes firefox

2008-03-21 Thread Lukasz Wisniewski
amd64, hardy

This bug should be fixed asap. Apart from the firefox plugin not
working, I cannot run any swing application and some parts of eclipse
just won't work properly. I would really appreciate this fixed as it
severely compromises usability of ubuntu as java developer's tool :|

[Bug 199557] Re: [hardy] fonts have had different proportions since update

2008-03-09 Thread Lukasz Wisniewski
Same here, can confirm bug and Juergen Kreileder's workaround. Btw if
this is a new, hardy's way of font rendering, it is just unacceptable
for my eyes.
