[Bug 1367098] [NEW] Pulseaudio doesn't start at boot
Public bug reported: It's been happening for a week now. When I log in, I hear no sound, and when I check the sound setup and it shows no sound card. I tried to kill pulseaudio and then restart it, but sometimes it can't even be killed. The most embarrasing thing about this is that the system cannot be shut down properly. [Bug 1325814] Re: Update manager window doesn't pop up
Actually since some day in august I don't experience this bug any more. But if you #LeonS is right it might be because I updated either chromome-stable and skype. I just don't close it because it can affect others. I can't recognise yout problem, but my secondary monitor is usually switched off (but always pluged in) and this doesn't happen for a while. [Bug 1356754] [NEW] Unable to get access to google account
Public bug reported: I've been experiencing this problem since I updated my system on the 7th of august (I hadn't used it for a month at all), before this update it'd been working fine. When I try to connect to my google account it says that connection is refused, needed to give access. I type my password and say ok to allow data access for this application, but everything stays the same. I've just tried to remove every access point in my google account and start the whole connection process again. It asked for access to Ubuntu first time, than it seemed to work, but after reboot it fails again. I clicked give access, and then it asked for access to Evolution, and after this it still failed to connect. Second time I clicked give access only my account name and a password field shows up, and no matter how many times I type my password it fails all the time. My most favorite thing about this was the integration of my google calendar, but I also liked the google drive search results. I hope it'll be fixed soon. I also have the Facebok connection set up and it seems to work without any problem. I looked for the reason of this issue in my google account, but I haven't found any data refusal or something like this in the account security system or in the connection log. [Bug 1328383] [NEW] Can't log in from software-center
Public bug reported: Since I installed Ubuntu 14.04 on my laptop I can't log in to the software center, and therefore I can't install already-bought programs, get recommendations and so on. I suppose it's because of the lack of Ubuntu One packages, which, as far as I know, were to synchronize data with the servers of Canonical. (I remember that when the previous release I tried to uninstall Ubuntu One I read some package descriptions that seemed to work for software center sync.) When I click on 'switch on recommendations' (translated from Hungarian) it seems to load, but finally nothing happens. When I try to install already-bought packages nothing happens ether. I can see the blank list of applications which is wrong, because I have bought 2 one before. Some days ago I tried to do this and a window prompted saying that I am not logged in and therefore can't see the list, but now I can't reproduce it. It was installed freshly in april, not updated from previous release, but the config files on the home partition were not erased completely (tried to keep files those seemed to be useful later so that I shouldn't reconfigure my programs). [Bug 1325814] [NEW] Update manager window doesn't pop up
Public bug reported: When Update Manager starts to help install the package updates, I can only see it on the launcher, but no matter if I click on it, or trying Alt + Tab, or Super + W I cannot make the window itself pup up. [Bug 1323418] [NEW] network-manager loses connection randomly
Public bug reported: It started a few weeks ago when network-manager started to lose connection randomly. Before these few weeks it sometimes happened after wake-up from suspend, but now I don't even have to suspend to experience this issue. It just suddenly seem to lose the signal of my home wi-fi network and I can only reconnect it after restarting network manager. [Bug 1246277] [NEW] Totem interface bug in full screen mode
Public bug reported: When I watch a film in full screen mode and move the mouse, the control bar doesn't come up, it just flashes, and when it should disappear it flashez again. During the flash I can see the control buttons for a moment in a frame of 640*480 px. So the control bar and buttons cannot be used in full screen mode. [Bug 1231089] [NEW] virtualbox-dkms 4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.3: virtualbox kernel module failed to build
Public bug reported: I saw the other bug reports similar to this. The only reason I report this is that it's 4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.3 and not *0.2 or 0.1 like the others. I have a freshli installed Ubuntu 12.04. I have a separate home partition, but I don't know if it could have anything to do with this. I reinstalled ubuntu 3 times within a week supposing that I ruined something but I don't have any ideas. In the software center I click to install virtualbox and at the end it shows me, that virtualbox-dkms could not be downloaded. I trie to start a VM unsuccesfully. I ran 'sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup', but the response was: 'sudo: /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup: command not found'. I tried to reinstall dkms from synaptic (it shows if it was installed), but this was the result: (Adatbázis olvasása ... jelenleg 177172 fájl vagy könyvtár van telepítve.) virtualbox-dkms 4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.3 cseréjének előkészítése (e csomaggal: .../virtualbox-dkms_4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.3_all.deb) ... -- Deleting module version: 4.1.12 completely from the DKMS tree. -- Done. [Bug 1152941] [NEW] Low network bandwidth
Public bug reported: For about two weeks I have been experiencing extremely low-speed internet connectivity. I tried to use my home network from Windows and it works normally. I also tried it with a virtual machine launched on Ubuntu with different network options on VirtualBox (NAT and Bridged Network). It worked with the same low speed with NAT but worked normally in Bridged Network mode. There are some web pages I can hardly use (ex. Facebook, Youtube), and some I can't use at all (ex. Dropbox.com).
