[Bug 1386331] [NEW] Mutex problem when trying to log into skype vie libpurple apps

2014-10-27 Thread Máté Eckl
Public bug reported:

When I try to start Pidgin sat to log into skype it fails to start. I tried it
with finch and when I sat it to log in to skype it crashed as well.
Trying to start pidgin from terminal prints this
Attempt to unlock mutex that was not locked
Félbeszakítva (core készült) (Interrupted (core dump) in english)
It has been happening since I updated to Ubuntu 14.10.

I am sure that there is a fix somewhere because I had had the same
problem on my Arch Linux system for about a weak and then it got fixed,
but I don't know the way to find out which particular package made it
work well.

seems that this issue doesn't exist any more in Lubuntu 14.04.

2014-09-08 Thread Máté Eckl

It's been happening for a week now. When I log in, I hear no sound, and when I
check the sound setup and it shows no sound card.

[Bug 1325814] Re: Update manager window doesn't pop up

2014-08-29 Thread Máté Eckl
Actually since some day in august I don't experience this bug any more. But if
you #LeonS is right it might be because I updated either chromome-stable and
skype. I just don't close it because it can affect others.
I can't recognise yout problem, but my secondary monitor is usually switched
off (but always pluged in) and this doesn't happen for a while. I don't know
which package it can be.

[Bug 1356754] [NEW] Unable to get access to google account

2014-08-14 Thread Máté Eckl
Public bug reported:

I've been experiencing this problem since I updated my system on the 7th of
august (I hadn't used it for a month at all), before this update it'd been
working fine.
When I try to connect to my google account it says that connection is refused,
needed to give access. I type my password and say ok to allow data access for
this application, but everything stays the same. I've just tried to remove
every access point in my google account and start the whole connection process
again. It asked for access to Ubuntu first time, than it seemed to work, but
after reboot it fails again. I clicked give access, and then it asked for
access to Evolution, and after this it still failed to connect. Second time I
clicked give access only my account name and a password field shows up, and no
matter how many times I type my password it fails all the time.
My most favorite thing about this was the integration of my google calendar,
but I also liked the google drive search results.
I hope it'll be fixed soon.

I also have the Facebok connection set up and it seems to work without
any problem.

I looked for the reason of this issue in my google account, but I
haven't found any data refusal or something like this in the account
security system or in the connection log.

[Bug 1328383] [NEW] Can't log in from software-center

2014-06-09 Thread Máté Eckl
Public bug reported:

Since I installed Ubuntu 14.04 on my laptop I can't log in to the software
center, and therefore I can't install already-bought programs, get
recommendations and so on. I suppose it's because of the lack of Ubuntu One
packages, which, as far as I know, were to synchronize data with the servers of
Canonical. (I remember that when the previous release I tried to uninstall
Ubuntu One I read some package descriptions that seemed to work for software
center sync.)
When I click on 'switch on recommendations' (translated from Hungarian) it
seems to load, but finally nothing happens. When I try to install
already-bought packages nothing happens ether. I can see the blank list of
applications which is wrong, because I have bought 2 one before. Some days ago
I tried to do this and a window prompted saying that I am not logged in and
therefore can't see the list, but now I can't reproduce it.

It was installed freshly in april, not updated from previous release,
but the config files on the home partition were not erased completely
(tried to keep files those seemed to be useful later so that I shouldn't
reconfigure my programs).

[Bug 1325814] [NEW] Update manager window doesn't pop up

2014-06-02 Thread Máté Eckl
Public bug reported:

When Update Manager starts to help install the package updates, I can only see
it on the launcher, but no matter if I click on it, or trying Alt + Tab, or
Super + W I cannot make the window itself pup up. It only seems to happen when
automatically starts, because these time I usually close it from launcher and
start it manually from the dash. In this case it works properly. It is quiet
anoyig.

[Bug 1323418] [NEW] network-manager loses connection randomly

2014-05-26 Thread Máté Eckl
Public bug reported:

It started a few weeks ago when network-manager started to lose connection
randomly. Before these few weeks it sometimes happened after wake-up from
suspend, but now I don't even have to suspend to experience this issue. It just
suddenly seem to lose the signal of my home wi-fi network and I can only
reconnect it after restarting network manager. I'm almost sure about not having
problem with the router because after losing signal I can still see my
printer's hotspot, and if I connect it after a few minutes that connection
breaks too.
In the first weeks of my fresh ubuntu 14.04 install this issue didn't happen
(only a few times after wakeup as I've mentioned, but).

Now on a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.04 the change of languages and
subtitles is quiet smooth but it is almost impossible to jump inside the
folw of a moovie. I'm not sure if it should be described like this. If I
try to go forward or backward inside a moovie totem dies almost every
time. It might be becouse of HD resoluton but I am not sure aboiut this.

[Bug 1296207] Re: Reboot fails on halt from LightDM

2014-04-20 Thread Máté Eckl
It's still an issue on Ubuntu 12.04 fresh install.

** Tags added: apport-collected trusty

** Description changed:

Sometimes my computer does not realise any built-in imput but I have an
external mouse and with it I used to click on the Restart option in the
indicator and during the reboot it stops somewhere leaving a blank screen
behind. In this state I can't simply turn it off by pressing the power button
it only shuts down after a 20 second press.
There is no problem when I simply press the power button on LightDM, in this
case it shuts down correctly.

[Bug 1246277] Re: Control functions fail in full screen mode

2014-03-23 Thread Máté Eckl
I still have this issue but I experienced that is might be a theme
issue. I installed the Moka icon theme and the other theme components
either, and since that it worked correctly (until i reinstalled the
system). I could see the totem control panel and every notifications on
fullscreen mode. Now with the reinstalled system and without the Moka
theme the issue is still on.

[Bug 1266178] [NEW] Live usb creator fails formatting, creating and loads my ram

2014-01-05 Thread Máté Eckl
Public bug reported:

I tried using live USB creator to create an Ubuntu 12.04 i386 Live USB
but firstly it couldn't format the drive. It returnd the following error
message:

org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible
causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message
bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the
network connection was broken.

While doing this my ram loaded until 50%, that is 1.6 GB of ram.
After this I tried to format the disc with another tool and tried to create the
LIve USB without formatting in the usb-creator. Immediately after clicking on
the create button it popped up with a failing massage, and then exited.
Furthermore it mad my ram fully loaded.

The same happened with amd64 version attempt.

[Bug 1248671] Re: Lightdm ignores all possible imput after power on

2014-01-05 Thread Máté Eckl
Will it be enough if I run it on a Live USB? I am not sure if it would be
native enough. I mean last time it happened while waking up from standby mode.
It never happens on a Live system. And it does not always happen, only
sometimes.
If I should install it next to my current system will there be any problem?
Last time when I tried installing a multi-boot linux system something was wrong
around the swap filesystem.

I'll do what I can.

Public bug reported:

Sometimes I start my computer every possible input is ignored, so that I can't

Another problem is that after I log in sometimes the keyboard layout changes to
english, but in the status bar it shows HU. I have already removed english
layout from the list, but it still occures.

[Bug 1248671] [NEW] Lightdm ignores all possible imput after power on

2013-11-06 Thread Máté Eckl
Public bug reported:

Sometimes when I switch on my computer the lightdm ignores every imput so I
can't move the mouse pointer and nor can I type anything, therefore I have to
switch it off. I didn't relise any system in it. Firstly I tought that it
happens, when I don't do anything immediately after the start of display, but
then I started my computer this way, and it didn't work.
I'm not sure if it's in the logs but I use Toshiba Satellite C855D-15V with
closed AMD driver installed.

is a general display problem. When playing a game in fullscreen mode and
trying to change sound level the same flash can be seen.

[Bug 1246277] [NEW] Totem interface bug in full screen mode

2013-10-30 Thread Máté Eckl
Public bug reported:

When I watch a film in full screen mode and move the mouse, the control
bar doesn't come up, it just flashes, and when it should disappear it
flashez again. During the flash I can see the control buttons for a
moment in a frame of 640*480 px. So the control bar and buttons cannot
be used in full screen mode.

[Bug 1231089] [NEW] virtualbox-dkms 4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.3: virtualbox kernel module failed to build

2013-09-25 Thread Máté Eckl
Public bug reported:

I saw the other bug reports similar to this. The only reason I report this is
that it's 4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.3 and not *0.2 or 0.1 like the others.
I have a freshli installed Ubuntu 12.04. I have a separate home partition, but
I don't know if it could have anything to do with this. I reinstalled ubuntu 3
times within a week supposing that I ruined something but I don't have any
ideas.
In the software center I click to install virtualbox and at the end it shows
me, that virtualbox-dkms could not be downloaded.
I trie to start a VM unsuccesfully.
I ran 'sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup', but the response was: 'sudo:
/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup: command not found'.
I tried to reinstall dkms from synaptic (it shows if it was installed), but
this was the result:

[Bug 1171978] [NEW] autoremove uninstalled necessary KDE packages

I installed kde-full a few days ago to try that environment. Being

[Bug 1152941] [NEW] Low network bandwidth

2013-03-09 Thread Máté Eckl
Public bug reported:

For about two weeks I have been experiencing extremely low-speed internet
connectivity. I tried to use my home network from Windows and it works
normally. I also tried it with a virtual machine launched on Ubuntu with
different network options on VirtualBox (NAT and Bridged Network). It worked
with the same low speed with NAT but worked normally in Bridged Network mode.
There are some web pages I can hardly use (ex. Facebook, Youtube), and some I
can't use at all (ex. Dropbox.com).

[Bug 1094836] Re: [regression since 3.2.0-34] Purple screen on bootup on a dual-boot system

2013-01-03 Thread Máté Eckl
@yannubuntu Joseph Sorry but that must have been a misundersranding. I
experienced this bug with every kernel from he first installation of
Ubuntu. I always installed it next to Windows, on an extended partition.

[Bug 1005112] Re: xorg crash (sudden logout)

2013-01-03 Thread Máté Eckl
I suggest that this bug should have high importance, because ruins all
the work done before sudden logout. It makes ubuntu useless on some
way...
