Title:
Screen brightness setting has no affect on HP ProBook 6560b
I tried to boot with acpi_backlight=vendor which didn't help; now there
aren'd any backlights registered in /sys/class/backlight at all.
This is an HP ProBook 6560b as well:
$ lspci -v
00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family
DRAM Controller (rev 09)

This isn't a bug in gnome-power-manager since it affects KDE as well.
Actually, it looks like the kernel (?) ignores whatever is written to
/sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness; I can set it to zero and
still no change:
$ ls /sys/class/backlight/
acpi_video0
$ cat /sys/class/backlight/acpi_

Would be nice to have this in Ubuntu Q and maybe a backport to P. Might
need to do this myself, I'll add this as a tracker bug and link the

Public bug reported:
The version of mod_passenger available from the Ubuntu repositories is
quite outdated, many of the options in the User Guide at
http://www.modrails.com/documentation/Users%20guide%20Apache.html#_configuring_phusion_passenger
aren't available.
Debian Wheezy has version 3.0.11d
It looks like it won't be possible to simply ship an apache2-2.4 package
in parallel since the ABI has changed which means that all modules etc.
had to be shipped in an -2.4 version as well: http://lists.debian.org
