[Bug 1883334] [NEW] Xorg freezes after Lock (win+L or via Menu>Lock)

2020-06-12 Thread Marcos R. Tosetti
Public bug reported:

This started to happen after installing the last update last week. If I
lock the screen (using either Win+L or opening the menu and clicking
Lock) the screen turns to black and it doesn't come back anymore. I know
the system is still operational since the NumLock button still responds
(turns on and off If I press it) and the HotSpot still works on my
phone, but the screen just doesn't come back from black. This wasn't an
issue before the update, it is very recent. Thank you very much!

[Bug 1880293] [NEW] Xorg freeze

2020-05-23 Thread Marcos R. Tosetti
Public bug reported:

When I click the button "Show Applications" then I click on a icon and
drag over another icon, then a group is created. If I open a group then
I click on the pen button to edit the group name, the title becomes
editable, then If I delete all the letters then click out of the group
window to save the changes the UI freezes and there's nothing I can do
to unfreeze it. The system is still responsible since the mouse cursor
moves (but clicks don't have any effect) and the NUMLOCK indicator is
also responsive on the keyboard. I then panic and press a wild
combination of CTRL+ALT+Windows button+Esc+Q+F1+F2 untill the terminal
appears asking for login and password, but the UI disappears, then I can
only reboot from there.

[Bug 1870359] Re: My machine as Wi-Fi Hotspot broken after upgrade to 20.04

2020-04-12 Thread Marcos R. Tosetti
I have the same issue. Everything was working fine on 18.04, it only
stopped working after upgrading to 20.04. My phone (Android) can see the
wifi network (hotspot), it connects to it, it says it is connected but
there is no internet. I tried many different configurations, different
software, but nothing worked.
