Public bug reported: When resizing a VMWare Workstation, under Ubuntu20 the resolution would change automaticaly. It does not in the Ubuntu 24 Beta. During installation I have enabled download of third party driver. I can see vmtoold running. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 24.04

I can reproduce this "at will". I have setup a vncserver following the instruction at https://www.smarthomebeginner.com/setup-vnc-server-on- ubuntu-linux/ but not a server but a desktop installation. Whenever I start the vncserver (thus startxfce4) I get a crash. -- You received this bug
