After this bug was opened a new version 2.2.3 was released and it's
available from Debian/testing. I can't stress this any further,
upgrading to 2.2.3 is highly recommended

Thanks Jeremy,
The problem is with tcl8.5-dev which ships /usr/lib/tcl8.5/tclConfig.sh
in Debian whereas Ubuntu's same package ships /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-
gnu/tcl8.5/tclConfig.sh
is there some howto or page manual to help a Debian packager to prepare
packages ubuntu compatible?
thanks

I'm afraid my familiarity with the Ubuntu methods is falling short in
this case. Does subscribing someone to the bug mean I have to click the
Subscribe to bug mail link on the packages's page? In this case am I
supposed to fill the text entry with the string 'sponsors'?

does version 2.0.5-1 (available from Debian wheezy) fix the problem? How
can I help anyway?
