different. There problem (and mine) is that, whenever a mail is moved
along, a copy _appears_ in the trash folder (both with local mail and
with IMAP folders).
The problem solved itself when I updated to 2.6.28-13-generic kernel.

I kind of solved the issue. In fact everything is working but my RAID
array is not assembled automatically at boot time. So if I enter mdadm
--assemble /dev/md0 in the busybox shell, and exit from it, then the
computer boot properly (except for X errors, but they are linked to the
update).

I confirm this. I believe that it is not really a bug, but this way of
filling the trash with 'good' mail is very disturbing and render the
trash nearly useless to find mails that would have been deleted by
error.

I confirm that this bug is still present in 8.04 with firefox 3 beta 5.

Because there is no such thing as an 'intel' kernel or an 'amd' one.
AMD64 is the name of the architecture of the CPU. Intel use the name
INTEL64 (formerly EM64T). But there is only one kernel for the two
vendors.
I think that this bug should be closed if nobody is still experiencing
this bug.

I upgraded to Hardy two days ago. And among many I found one serious bug
