[Bug 1267255] Re: [MIR] php7.0 (php7.0-fpm binary)
There appear to be 14 bugs open that mention FPM currently (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php5/+bugs?field.searchtext=fpm), some of which look like they can be ignored. * #1283478 - Affects FPM. Crash when non-default configuration used. Raised upstream with PHP but no activity. * #1288129 - Affects FPM. Raised upstream, patch available, brief review by PHP dev but no activity since May. * #1385050 - Affects FPM on Trusty. More information needed. * #1463076 - May have been fixed in Debian? Version 5.5.10+dfsg-1 changelog has the note "Implement more robust way of handling php5-fpm reopen logs from logrotate" but there's no Debian bug linked so can't compare this issue against it. Bugs that can be ignored: * #1131115 - Incomplete bug. * #1352617 - Fixed in Trusty. * #1406026 - Incomplete bug. * #1334572 - Unclear where issue lies - apparent packaging issue, but related to a conffile automatically marked as such since it's in /etc, so not related to FPM itself. * #1475309 - Bug with opcache, not FPM * #1325083 - Incomplete bug. * #195 - Incomplete bug. * #1407670 - Incomplete bug. * #1430033 - Error on installation, log appears to show problem with php5-cli installation, not php5-fpm. * #1439925 - Issue with php5-mysql & php5-mysqlnd packaging on Trusty, not php5-fpm By my estimation, there are just three or four bugs that need attention, which doesn't look that bad, unless I've missed something? Just a matter of putting pressure on PHP for fixes for the first two, and somehow reproducing the second two, or marking as incomplete if no further information is provided. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1267255 Title: [MIR] php7.0 (php7.0-fpm binary) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php7.0/+bug/1267255/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1220426] Re: [nvidia-prime]Freeze while using touchpad
I have created a PPA for those using Vivid. The only change is the addition of the upstream patch. https://launchpad.net/~snafu109/+archive/ubuntu/xorg-server This may be useful for users on Utopic too since both use xserver-xorg 1.16, but there are no guarantees. I installed the package built for Vivid on my machine running Utopic and didn't experience any problems, and it fixed the freezing issue for me as expected. I can't provide any support for this, sorry. But please comment if you're using Vivid and you try this, whether it does or does not fix the issue. The debdiff I attached (see comment 247) contains the patch that was applied to the package provided in the PPA. [Bug 129226] Re: kernel oops after resuming from suspend to RAM
New kernel (2.6.22-10-generic) fixed it for me on a Dell Inspiron 1420 (Core 2 Duo). No flashing keyboard lights, cat /proc/cpuinfo shows both cores, and they both also appear in System Monitor. -- kernel oops after resuming from suspend to RAM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/129226 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 129226] Re: kernel oops after resuming from suspend to RAM
A new kernel has been released as source, but there's no binary yet. At the moment I'm still on 2.6.22-9.25 (and everyone else would be too at this point), which doesn't contain the fixes. I believe the kernel with the fix is version 2.6.22-10.26. It'll be available soon. Keep in mind I've never tracked the Ubuntu kernel before so I may be completely wrong :) -- kernel oops after resuming from suspend to RAM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/129226 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 58232] Re: gnome-terminal does not start when using xinerama and nvidia
Have a look at the bug in gnome: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354767#c5 It was closed, apparently the Composite X extension in nVidia is buggy. That would probably explain why the bug went away when the new driver was installed. -- gnome-terminal does not start when using xinerama and nvidia https://launchpad.net/bugs/58232 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 64623] Re: Gnome-terminal fails to start when Xinerama enabled with nvidia-glx
Sorry, it's not different. I thought it might get filed against xorg or something other than gnome-terminal. This is my first bug report, so sorry about the noise :) Feel free to close this. -- Gnome-terminal fails to start when Xinerama enabled with nvidia-glx https://launchpad.net/bugs/64623 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 64623] Gnome-terminal fails to start when Xinerama enabled with nvidia-glx
Public bug reported: When Xinerama is enabled when using the proprietary nvidia drivers, gnome-terminal fails to start. When run from an alternative terminal (konsole), the error is: The program 'gnome-terminal' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'. (Details: serial 105 error_code 2 request_code 78 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) I've tried several combinations of xorg.conf with both open-source nv and proprietary nvidia drivers. Each combination worked with gnome- terminal, except when xinerama was enabled. When I tried commenting xinerama out of my otherwise working xinerama enabled xorg.conf, gnome-terminal worked. Uncommenting xinerama meant that it would not start. There's more info in bug https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gnome- terminal/+bug/58232">#58232. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Gnome-terminal fails to start when Xinerama enabled with nvidia-glx https://launchpad.net/bugs/64623 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
