[Bug 1629613] Re: [Dell XPS 13] SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad not recognized after upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04
I'm confirming this bug: I upgraded my XPS 13 9333 from 14.04 to 16.04 last week. I had to go back to 14.04 by restoring the hard drive image because I was not able to have the touchpad working. I also tested the generic kernel without more success. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1629613 Title: [Dell XPS 13] SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad not recognized after upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1629613/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

gazhay (1224...@bugs.launchpad.net) — 2014-11-04 20:38:38 I ran xmodmap -pke ~/. Xmodmap In a terminal. My keys are still working after several reboots. I should have read had xmodmap generate a new .Xmodmap instead of Made the system…. I still wonder why I could not find this by myself. I'll try. Thanks a lot for sharing. [Bug 1224732] Re: Custom keyboard shortcuts don't work
For me, there was no problem with 13.10. After the upgrade to 14.04 (ubuntu-gnome ): - special keys have no effect (sound volume up/down, brightness etc.) - custom shortcuts (home key to fire internet navigator, by instance) are no more working -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1224732 Title: Custom keyboard shortcuts don't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1224732/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
