[Bug 1224732] Re: Custom keyboard shortcuts don't work
Can confirm same behaviour in Xubuntu 14.04. Using XFCE's Settings-Keyboard-Application Shortcut to assign shortcuts to special /multimedia keys (showing with XF86* prefix like XF86Music) on my Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard. Assigning keys worked at first, and the shortcut seem to work randomly after boot. One time after boot they work, next time I reboot they don't work at all. Seems to be completely random after booting. This is very annoying. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1224732 Title: Custom keyboard shortcuts don't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1224732/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1307217] [NEW] raid disk entry from fstab isn't shown in list of mountable devices
Public bug reported: (Using latest 14.04 intalled from daily, dist-upgraded today to latest builds) Thunar doesn't show the user-mountable raid disk that is present in fstab created by the following line: /dev/md0/raid ext4defaults,rw,user,noauto 0 2 The user arg in the fstab line makes the drive (a dmraid in this case) mountable by users, and as such should be displayed in the list of devices and mounted upon clicking them in thunar. However the drive is not listed. [Bug 183818] Re: rt2500 doesn't build with current hardy / module-assistant
i too can confirm this. this is quite critical, as the rt2500 module that ships with hardy rc1 has a serious bug which limits rate to 1Mbps, see bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24/+bug/190515 This bug will most likely not be fixed in the final release, so users need to build their rt2500-source if they want to use that card. -- rt2500 doesn't build with current hardy / module-assistant https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183818 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 183818] Re: rt2500 doesn't build with current hardy / module-assistant
It seems SET_MODULE_OWNER() is obsolete and was removed from the kernel. I could not find when it got removed, but in the 2.6.24 changelog there are entries where it got removed from other netdrivers, see http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/ChangeLog-2.6.24 Removing line 254 in rtmp_main.c the compilation succeeds. I've down little testing with the rt2500 driver (after blacklisting rt2500pci) and it seems to work fine now on hardy-rc. However, i am no kernel dev, and it only works for me as a workaround. -- rt2500 doesn't build with current hardy / module-assistant https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183818 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 219915] [NEW] xserver blocks bios video hotkeys on fujitsu laptop
Public bug reported: i upgraded to hardy-rc today from gutsy where this bug didnt occur. Hardware laptop is a fujitsu-siemens lifebook E6595 with some hotkeys to modify video behaviour: Fn + F10 usually switches between internal laptop screen an external vga monitor when pressed. This is very handy when holding presentations etc. The functionality is done in bios and works in windows and other linuxes ( i tested opensue 10.3 and gutsy, works) without any additional drivers. Since upgrading to hardy, this doesnt work any longer as soon as X is started (works while booting though). I've tested this with the ati driver (rage128 mobility m4) and the vesa driver, no difference. I also removed my xorg.conf and let the new autodetect feature start up X, blocks the keys too. I dont know if it is related, but with randr extension enabled in xorg.conf, xrandr -q does not show any connected screens other than the internal one (but i've got an external screen connected, works while booting). ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- xserver blocks bios video hotkeys on fujitsu laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219915 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
