[Bug 1960268] Re: SSL handshake failed - VPN SSL broken in 22.04

2022-04-22 Thread Michaël Arnauts
I'm seeing the same issue since upgrading to 22.04. Running it trough
the command line as indicated above works fine, so it's probably not an
issue with the VPN provider.

[Bug 719937] [NEW] Search doesn't work with base64 encoded plain/text messages

2011-02-16 Thread Michaël Arnauts
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I've noticed that evolution isn't able to search in certain mail
messages. At first sight, it is a normal message, but when you take a
look at the source, i've noticed that the text part of the email is
base64 encoded.

It should be possible to search in these messages.

I've made an example email below, note that i have anonymized the
headers (and contents)

[Bug 60411] Re: Add more mirrors to the Software Sources dialog

Because when I use the Belgian mirror (belnet), I don't lose any
download-quota (i have 4 GB maximum a month), but at home, I don't have
that problem. So if I could switch between the official ftp and the
belgian mirror without to much hassle, that would be cool.

I also don't see the point in adding the mirror-selection box, if you

[Bug 59014] Network-manager should be installed by default

2006-09-05 Thread Michaël Arnauts
Public bug reported:

Currently, network-manager isn't installed by default. Therefore, there
is no WPA support. If you have only wireless acces with secure WPA
access, you have to find a cable, configure it to have UNSECURE WEP
access, and install network-manager, afterwards, one can only hope they
set WPA back up, because WEP is unsecure as hell...

Now, you can say, network-manager is on the cd, you don't need
internet for that, it's explained on the wiki, but how can one look at
the wiki without internet??

Some say network-manager isn't installed by default because of some
bugs, but what's worse, a bug that affects only a few people, or just
ignoring all the WPA users??

I hope somebody who knows that network-manager is essential for a good
OOTB-experience reads this...

[Bug 29527] Re: brightness is not associated with any graphical indicator (such as volume one)

2006-08-30 Thread Michaël Arnauts
I tried the edgy gnome-power-manager, but it isn't there. My brightness
changes, but the dialog doesn't appear.

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000...

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ gnome-power-manager --version
Gnome gnome-power-manager 2.15.92

[Bug 53363] Re: -d doesn't give me edgy

2006-08-29 Thread Michaël Arnauts
I did gksudo update-manager -c -d and that did work. You might need to
press the check button before the upgrade message appears.
