[Bug 1337516] Re: hpsa driver needs more Gen9 PCI ID's
The command `apport-collect 1337516` fails for me. I get the following message: ERROR: connecting to Launchpad failed: [Errno 110] Connection timed out You can reset the credentials by removing the file /home/mikem/.cache/apport/launchpad.credentials No such file exists on my system. I thought it may be because of a mismatch between by launchpad ID and my login. But trying to fool it didn't work either. I got various Gtk-CRITICAL errors. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Trusty) Status: Incomplete = Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1337516 Title: hpsa driver needs more Gen9 PCI ID's To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hp-iss/+bug/1337516/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Instead of a usb-partition, the device is seen as a disk. Running list-devices disk and then a blkid against that disk will reveal the OEMDRV label. Instead of just probing for usb-partitoin in list-devices, the driver- injection-disk script also needs to check the disk device via list- devices. I'll post a possible fix via bzr merge proposal shortly.
