[Bug 1697536] Re: nm strongswan gui doesn't have a way to enter pre-shared key

2021-10-05 Thread Michael Härtl
Is there a workaround to make the Plugin accept PSK with less than 20
characters, e.g. via some CLI tool?

And maybe someone could explain where this limitation comes from. As
others have pointed out if you connect to a foreign VPN you may not have
control over the length of the PSK that they assign you. So you're out
of luck in this case.

Releated problem: If I select to "Ask for password each time"
(translated back from German) in the dropdown of the password field I
still can not save the connection. This makes no sense as I explicitely
selected to not enter the password here.

[Bug 1773481] Re: beta build warning on Anki

2018-07-13 Thread Michael Härtl
I'm surprised that a beta version is included here. After an upgrade
from 16.04 to 18.04 Anki suddenly looked quite different and some
features where missing (e.g. my saved searches disappeared). Also some
popular plugins like AwesomeTTS are not ready for 2.1 beta yet.

The latest stable Anki release is still 2.0.x. Shouldn't that be
packaged instead?

[Bug 1671816] Re: mysql plugin broken in munin-plugins-core

2017-03-10 Thread Michael Härtl
Never mind. The plugin was already broken before the upgrade and I
manually replaced it. This was overwritten now by the security upgrade.

The issue can be closed.

[Bug 1526198] Re: simple-scan doesn't work with MG5350 anymore (wifi)

2016-07-26 Thread Michael Härtl
I've followed the advice given here and upgraded to the latest
experimental libsane and libsane-common, which fixed the problem.
simple-scan now works again with my Canon PIXMA MG5250.

[Bug 1577137] Re: saned.service masked and cannot be unmasked

2016-07-24 Thread Michael Härtl
I'm on Linux Mint 18 which is based on Ubuntu 16.04 and have exactly the
same problem. Unfortunately the solutions provided here did not work for
me. If I understand correctly, the fix should be:

# sudo systemctl start saned.socket
# sudo systemctl enable saned.socket

Still simple scan doesn't work and I never see an instance of saned
being started. The scanner is found with "scanimage -L" though and it
also worked fine with simple scan in earlier versions.

So something must still be missing. saned does not start for me.

[Bug 771855] Re: reiserfs module missing in linux-image-virtual

2011-10-07 Thread Michael Härtl
I experience the same problem in linux-image-2.6.38-11-virtual: It is
missing the module for ReiserFS so i can't mount any of my ReiserFS
partitions. It's also missing in the init RamFS, so i can't boot into a
ReiserFS system.

I tried apport-collect, but it seems to require X (..opening your
browser...). I only have a screenless machine running. Any other way to
provide the requested information?
