Synaptic Package Manager says I have 2.1.7+dfsg-1build1. I'm on Ubuntu 11.10. If this build fixes this bug, then perhaps 860208 isn't really a duplicate. [Bug 860208] Re: Shrew Soft VPN no longer establishes a connection
This is causing me real headaches. To login to work, I have to use an old Windows laptop. I hate that. I'm old and I've lost most my intelligence. I just wanna do my work and then watch some Matlock. I don't want to attempt to load an old version of Shrew (2.1.5) cuz it's too hard and I don't know how. I don't want to download source for 2.1.7 and recompile it cuz it's too hard and I don't know how. I would get down on my knees and beg, but they hurt. [Bug 771788] Re: nVidia driver activated and apparently being used but reported as not being used by jockey-gtk
In addition to the driver not being used, my video is slow, the gears don't turn (though it reports from 6k to 8k fps), and those cool special effects (jello windows) aren't there. I do get that new Ubuntu user interface (Unity?)
