The problem could be your kernel. Hardy ships with a .24 kernel while yours is a .22. Could you try installing the .24 kernel and try again? Open up Synaptic and search for the linux-generic package and install/upgrade it. About the lsb-release -a. Entirely my fault! It should be lsb_release -a with an underscore instead of a dash. Could you show me the source of 1.c? I've just tried to reproduce this bug myself (window manager: metacity): -The OpenOffice window does not get its focus when I click the window tab in the panel. -Alt+Tabbing however does give the OpenOffice window focus. Another attempt at reproducing it with xfwm4 for window manager: -When clicking the window tab in the panel only the activated OpenOffice toolbar gets focus. -Again, Alt+Tabbing works fine.
