[Bug 1903883] Re: XPS 13 9310 Tiger Lake Unable to boot 20.10 after intel-microcode update 3.20201110.0ubuntu0.20.10.1
For anyone struggling to recover, note you can add 'dis_ucode_ldr' to your cmdline in grub to disable the microcode loading, and this will let you boot your regular kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1903883 Title: XPS 13 9310 Tiger Lake Unable to boot 20.10 after intel-microcode update 3.20201110.0ubuntu0.20.10.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/intel-microcode/+bug/1903883/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 474267] Re: jppy crashes on XUbuntu 9.10
Hi Brendes, Please can you say the version of pilot-link (package libpisock9) (and jpilot) that you have installed? It's likely that the jppy binary you are using was compiled against a different pilot-link library (probably 0.12.3) than the one you currently have (probably 0.12.4), see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=536877 This was badly handled in pilot-link (my own fault.) [Bug 186994] Re: rdesktop shows letters 't' and 'N' reversed
My colleague on Ubuntu still does not have this problem. This is fixed by http://jppy.zanu.org.uk/trac/changeset/302 which will be in 0.0.44. Please run 'jpilot' before 'jppy' for now as a workaround.
