[Bug 1637075] Re: missing dependency to python-dbus
I have the same output in terminal. When opening in Gui Gespeaker attempts to open, and flashes for a few second on the task bar, and then closes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1637075 Title: missing dependency to python-dbus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gespeaker/+bug/1637075/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1409032] Re: gvfsd-smb: very high CPU utilisation
Can anyone briefly state what gvfsd-smb-browse does? I know samba is used to connect to Windows networks. [Bug 1409032] Re: gvfsd-smb: very high CPU utilisation
I used the terminal to back up the gvfsd-smb-browse, then removed it. I think I do not use this file for anything. It looks like the system is still running fine as far as I can see. [Bug 299712] Re: the update manager doesnt work E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. E: _cache-open() failed,
I recently installed Ubuntu 8.10 (installed within Windows XP) on an Asus Eee PC 1000 (10/30mb SSD, 1mb RAM). Opening Update Manager showed 301 updates available (278mb) and when proceeding gave exactly the above error messages. Having consulted Keir Thomas' Pocket Guide Reference (I am a complete Linux virgin, but happy with the old CPM DOS command line), I manually ran: sudo dkpg --configure -a (working out the need for the sudo command took me a while !) It worked and all the updates appear to have downloaded installed successfully. -- the update manager doesnt work E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
