Still a problem in Hardy with latest updates as of today.
Will this be fixed before the Hardy release? As far as I remember it has also
been a problem in Gutsy.
I sometime get a corrupted window border (half orange) as seen in earlier
screeshots but most of the time I get a completely gray

Same here on a fresh Hardy install (beta 1) with all patches.
The evolution data server consumed 50% CPU until I killed it. I'm not using
evolution. It's not even started on this machine.

Also, Evince seems to slow the computer down a lot when you have the pdf

When reloading the page some buttons appear and some disappear.
The problem is visable on a computer with a Intel 845 chipset, however
it does not appear on a computer with a nvidia card. That is why I
suspect the xserver-xorg-video-intel package.

New install from Gutsy Beta
When installing on a computer with i845 graphics the intel driver is selected.
I used the Screens and Graphics to load the inf-file for the monitor. Worked
perfect!
Later I tried to change to the i810
I can confirm this bug.
The line provided by Dyno:

Found the error in 70-persistent-net.rules
I only have one network interface in this computer.
Changed NAME=eth1 to NAME=eth1 solved the problem.
Can this be fixed prior to final release?

The motherboard is an Asus M2N-MX with integrated network controller
(Nvidia MCP61).
I have no network problems with Debian Etch when installing a command
line system and I have also tried Fedora so I think we can exclude any
problems with the motherboard itself.
