[Bug 418627] Re: [Regression] No sound in Karmic (HDA Intel ICH6 Realtek ALC260)
The issues is present for me in 2.6.31-14-generic but NOT in 2.6.31-12-generic. Attached is my 'lspci' in 2.6.31-12-generic. Here are some linked images of what my Sound Preferences MUST LOOK LIKE to have sound. In the 2.6.31-14-generic kernel there is no option for the Internal Audio as THERE is when I use 2.6.31-12. http://i37.tinypic.com/2i8exyw.png - Sound Preferences, Hardware Tab http://i33.tinypic.com/ej7xu9.png - Sound Preferences, Output Tab ** Attachment added: lspci output http://launchpadlibrarian.net/33839917/lspci -- [Regression] No sound in Karmic (HDA Intel ICH6 Realtek ALC260) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/418627 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 442718] Re: SB Audigy 2 Sound Card makes popping sound before music applications begin, and when sound ends.
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 sound card makes a popping sound a second before a sound is made (i.e. Flash Video, music) and also a few seconds after a sound is made it makes a popping sound. This bug was NOT present prior to my upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. I assume the popping sound is the sound card turning on and off. -- SB Audigy 2 Sound Card makes popping sound before music applications begin, and when sound ends. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/442718 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Graham Bleach, the Jaunty current version number is 0.5.0.3-1ubuntu6 It'd be great if you could upload the f-spot.debdiff for Jaunty! [Bug 342548] Re: Gdm does not allow user to enter user/pass
I did also, like Jack Wasey, added « @include common-pamkeyring » to my /etc/pam.d/gdm I commented it out and now I no longer get this error/bug.
