[Bug 801739] [NEW] Backport italc 1.0.13 to Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, fix crashes
Public bug reported: The current 10.04.2 italc version (1.0.9) crashes when turning the teacher demo on and off repeatedly and potentially has automated station adding issues. The bug seems to have been fixed in later versions, but currently 10.04 uses the PPA with 1.0.9 and even 10.10 uses that older version. Only the newer releases of Ubuntu, 11.04 and 11.10 use the 1.0.13 series of italc. This bug isn't so much about the bugs we're having issues with, but about the possibility of back-porting italc to 10.04.2 LTS ubuntu release. Even just having an Ubuntu package built for download on a webpage would be welcome. ** Affects: italc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: backport educational italc lts update upgrade -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/801739 Title: Backport italc 1.0.13 to Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, fix crashes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/italc/+bug/801739/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 606199] Re: no speaker sound headphone sound only
If you are using a laptop, it is possible that there is an audio hardware switch/volume control? On my T60, hw and sw volume controls are independent and both are required to be unmuted and volume raised to be audible. Also, what graphic driver are you using? Sometimes the two are correlated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/606199 Title: no speaker sound headphone sound only -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 24061] Re: GPG error with apt-get (BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5)
I think I may have found a fix. I would get this error and none of the above solutions would work. W: GPG error: http://packages.medibuntu.org gutsy Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 2EBC26B60C5A2783 W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems I opened up a text editor as root and began exploring the /etc/apt/ directory hoping to find the source of the problem. Voila. There is a directory called "sources.list.d/" and inside was a file containing the medibuntu information that was stumping apt-get. I deleted the file and all was well once again. Hopefully this helps.
