I don't know if this is a kdbg related bug, or there is something related with
my program. Please bear with me. It seems that when I open a file it goes all
well and nice on the actual execution, while an inspection of the code throws a

Surprisingly when I use gdb it doesn't have this problem, so the failure is
confined to kdbg.

The same bug here. After KDevelop opens, it analyses some previously opened
files and then crashes.
Here is the output when started in console:

I used Daniele E. Domenichelli's ppa and backports, and I thus installed
KDevelop 3.9.97
Everything is fine now.

The same for me. I make a clean installation of KUbuntu 9.10 64bit, and
fortunately I don't have this problem anymore.

The suggested solution does not work for me since I have GRUB installed
(v.1.96) and it's loading fine. I am able to successfully boot the OS I have
installed on my computer (Kubuntu 9.04 and Windows Vista). I tried to reinstall
