[Bug 1813672] Re: 4.15.0-44-generic #47 breaks Lenovo T470s suspend while docked
Some kind of similar issue on ThinkPad X250 20CM004EMN. Switching back to 4.15.0-43-generic solved the problem. Booting with 4.15.0-44-generic on Ultra Dock station gives blank screen on login/display manager. Undocking does not solve the issue so only SysRq+REISUB or hard reboot help. X250 rejects to fall sleep on closed lid or Fn+4 combination. Tried on two different Ultra Dock stations with various monitors, the result is the same. Booting with 4.15.0-44-generic undocked brings login/display manager as expected. It is possible to dock after that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1813672 Title: 4.15.0-44-generic #47 breaks Lenovo T470s suspend while docked To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1813672/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1386379] Re: Audio Input switches after opening Sound Settings/Input
I have got the same issue with Lenovo T540p and dock station connected to DP monitor. If my T540p docked then I have to manually selected DP output every time I boot it. If my laptop is undocked then fallback output (built-in stereo) is used however there is a caveat. Unity-control-center and sound indicator/applet do not sync sound volume. That means if I switch to different output manually or fallback to stereo then sound volume stays the same from previously selected output. It is really annoying because I have to do it twice per day to change the output and adjust volume. Even if I tick Mute it may not help because I have to really adjust the volume before doing anything else. I am using my laptop docked and undocked every day so it is extremely annoying adjust output and volume. The bug is very easy to reproduce indeed. Taking in account that many people use dock stations with multiple outputs it must be fixed. It is obvious to remember previous output choice, keep sound volume for that output and fallback to built- in speakers in case no other output sources found restoring volume as well. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1386379 Title: Audio Input switches after opening Sound Settings/Input To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-control-center/+bug/1386379/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1277245] Re: nvidia prime causing mouse and screen to freeze
Hi, I am still having that issue on 14.04 Lenovo T540p with nvidia-prime activated. At the same time 14.04 on Dell V131 does not have any issues with touchpad at all. Those settings are respected if I open new window and the default layout is used (English) under GNOME desktop however if I run Unity or any desktop with compiz then new window ALWAYS got the previous window's layout regardless the settings. I have started experience the problem since Natty release however some people claim it is from 10.04, see GNOME bug reported at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=628529 It looks like bug is related to compiz or Unity and GNOME team has no way to fix the issue. [Bug 779171] Re: [panel] No appname and menu bar when restoring Empathy
The same issue is on 11.10. I have copied settings from 11.04 installation had before and it looks like there are no global menu for Empathy Contact List window. I am not sure if it is previous settings are not handled or a bug. Another interesting issue with Empathy: it stopped logging conversations and shows me a list of old ones instead even the preference option says to keep log. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/779171 Title: [panel] No appname and menu bar when restoring Empathy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-2d/+bug/779171/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 836712] Re: LibreOffice Writer(and Calc) crashes on print preview without a printer
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 754562 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/754562 Well, it is crashing for me even with printer defined.
