Installing 295.53 changes nothing. X-session freezes very soon. I think
that my bug has nothing to do with Unity, because in same machine same
problem is with OpenSUSE 12.1 KDE enviroment. There must be something in
xorg or kernel or nvidia driver.

I make fresh install, updating system and installing 295.49. That hangs
X system.
X.org.log is full of EQ overflow notices? Is there any help of my log
file.

I reinstalled nvidia in resume mode, but before that I removed nouveau
driver and system seems to stable now.

Installing 295.49 or 302.07 don't solve my problem. X session freezes
after about minute. My hardware is iMac and GeForce 8800 GS.
I also installed OpenSUSE 12.1 (KDE) to the same machine that works
with nouveau driver, but installing NVIDIA driver resulting same problem
that I have with Ubuntu
Here is xorg log from OpenSUSE, from Ubuntu I couln't find anything,
posted on the duplicate. When googling (last month) that error there is
lot of bug reports also in other distributions.
[ 261.273] [mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an
infinite loop.

Unity 2D makes no difference.
Removing propietary drives seems to work. X sessions has been up almost
30 minutes.
Is there bug in the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS driver?

I installed Ubuntu 12.4 iMac and after booting and login system hangs
totally (mouse pointer moving, but system not responding) after minute.
I tried restart system few times and same problem.
Mac OS X working and there is no hardware issues.
After that I booted to rescue
