Can confirm it still occurs under 9.04 with Updates, but works correctly
under Fedora 11 -- haven't tried 9.10 yet, will add a comment to this
bug when I do.
I can open a bugreport upstream if it is still considered an upstream
issue.

little aesthetically odd having one particular daemon doing it the old
way and everything else doing it the real way on a newly installed
server.

On Ubuntu 8.04 (with updates to June 29th 2008) Epiphany uses the wrong
country when 'Search The Web' is used.
In en_AU (Australia), having selected an Australian City from the
locales list at install time, the default search goes to

CD, as fresh installs with updates to June 26th 2008 and en_AU as the
locale, having selected Melbourne or Hobart, Australia as the region at
install time.
Happens on a variety of printers, including Brother, HP and Lexmarks.
The patch (minus the comment) has been committed to the gnome-2-22
branch of Epiphany too.

I think i've found the fix for this, looking through the Epiphany code,
specifically the embed/mozilla/GeckoPrintService.cpp file, there's a
line (around 737-739) that reads:
