Turns out disabling the touch screen with ``xinput --disable 12`` ("ELAN
Touchscreen" listed as "id=12" in ``xinput``) solved the problem for me.
In my case, this is either a malfunction of the touch screen or a system
software problem.

I have the same problem in Ubuntu 16.04.3, but only for certain
applications (jabref and texmaker so far).
The comment by @spoolboyy helped: I was using a USB mouse and clicking
with the touchpad stopped the drag-and-drop mode.
I am using a Thinkpad X1 Carbon laptop.

This problem appeared after installing OTA-11 on my BQ Aquaris 4.5.
Previously, I could activate and deactivate GPS in the Battery settings
dialog. Now, I can only find Wi-Fi and Bluetooth there. I believe that
shortly after installing the OTA-11, I could sometimes find the

It is currently not possible to globally enable/disable the transmission
of the caller ID [1].
My cellular network provider does not transmit my number by default. A
workaround [2] is to prepend *31# before each dialed number.

A workaround is to copy and paste the password from a different app. I
created a note with the password as a title and copied it from there.

Just found out this bug was duplicated. Having the same problem on EQ 4.5:
The top of the messaging app allows to choose the sim-card. This worked
previously in OTA 9 (I think also 9.1), but does not have an effect starting
OTA10.
