I've been retrying, scanning my finger as per Igor's instructions (see

For the reminder, my fingerprint scanner is a 04f3:0c01, and my laptop
is a Dell Inspiron 7000.

My fingerprint reader is 0x0c01. Here is the result of my testing:
- enrolling the finger works as expected, and an image is generated
- verifying the finger is more difficult. The verification doesn't work most of
the time

After some research, it seems that this problem was caused by git-all.
Removing git-all fixed the problem for me.

After some research, it seems that this problem was caused by git-all.
Removing git-all fixed the problem for me.
