Re-enabling apparmor fixed the problem.I just don't get why I have to
have apparmor enabled just to get basic apps working, doesn't make
sense.

Thanks for the explanation.
However I do think that since both Windows 10 and Ubuntu use same Nvidia
driver, and Windows can handle HDMI with Intel GPU only, then Ubuntu should be
able to do the same.
