foo2zjs package to make my printer (LaserJet 1020) working with hplip.
If both are installed, they are fighting for the printer and the printer

This broke again my graphical environment and dropped me to console mode.
I have put back 2:1.11.4-0ubuntu10.6 version from these packages and locked
them too so they won't get upgraded.
Kernel 3.2.0-35 is still not good. I must stay on 3.2.0-32, which is the
last version that works.

touchpad. That is controlled by acceleration. High acceleration means faster
cursor movement.

This is always the case for me on an Asus EEE 901. Touchpad sensitivity is very
slow, and the sensitivity slider (System-Preferences-Mouse) does nothing. The
acceleration slider works, though, but it is not what I want.
Is there an other way to adjust sensitivity, as a workaround for this bug?
I connected an USB mouse to my EEE 901, and mouse sensitivity didn't
have any effect on the external mouse, either. But the mouse had a more
acceptable speed, unlike the touchpad that makes me crazy. It takes
about five finger moves from the left edge of the pad to the right egde,
to be able to
KDE has a framework for reading and writing application settings. So the
solution should be simple: switch on the fsync call at the same Ubuntu release
where ext4 is the default file system. Does anybody know what is the situation
of the GNOME environment? Does a similar switch exist?

I tested tracker 0.6.6-1ubuntu5.1 from proposed and I can confirm that
it fixes this bug. It is no longer activated by gdmsetup. Directories
like /root/.cache/tracker, /root/.local/share/tracker and
/root/.config/tracker are no longer created when launching gdmsetup,

Giacomo, I suppose your eee pc doesn't contain an Atheros wifi card,
like mine. It can contain an other wifi card. You can verify that with
the lspci command. If that doesn't give you something named Atheros,
you don't have an Atheros card. My eee contains a RaLink card, which
needs the rt2860sta

The current behavior is the same as 3 years ago. Silently discarding the
user's work, his modifications is the worst method. I would support
saving the image at once after a lossless(!) rotation. The approach to
ask the user on closing eog if he wants to save all rotations can be a
compromise.

Using current Intrepid. In Hungarian the labels before the sliders are longer
than in English. This breaks the whole layout of the dialog. The text should be
broken into multiple lines, but most importantly, the sliders should

Adobe has released a 64 bit version of their flash plugin. It is currently
under development, but it should be considered for Jaunty. The current
nspluginwrapper method pulls in ia32-libs, a huge package, and nspluginwrapper
itself
Setting this to confirmed, because intrepid install does not include
gnome-bluetooth by default. So receiving files via bluetooth does not
work by default.
