[Bug 273305] [NEW] f-spot db error
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot I tried to insert a SD-card. Nothing happened. Then I tried to start f-spot. When starting f-spot from a terminal, I get this error message: Unhandled Exception: System.Exception: Unsupported SQLite database version at Banshee.Database.QueuedSqliteDatabase.ProcessQueue () [0x0] at (wrapper delegate-invoke) System.MulticastDelegate:invoke_void () OS: Ubuntu 8.04.1 ** Affects: f-spot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- f-spot db error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/273305 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 273305] Re: f-spot db error
Hi Pedro Thank you for the answer. Eventually I found out, that the error message was correct. The database simply was corrupt, perhaps as a result of an update where the backup was from Ubuntu 7,10 to Ubuntu 8.04. I simply erased the old database from ~/.gnome2/f-spot, and then restarted f-spot. So the bug is solved, after all i was'nt a bug... rgds. Per 2008/9/22 Pedro Villavicencio [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Also, please answer these questions: * Is this reproducible? * If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug? This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem and resolving this bug. ** Changed in: f-spot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low Assignee: (unassigned) = Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) Status: New = Incomplete -- f-spot db error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/273305 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. -- Per Thykjær Jensen tlf. +45 4119 6624 http://www.multimusen.dk -- f-spot db error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/273305 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
