[Bug 1914770] Re: Notifications provided by xfce instead of plasma

2021-12-30 Thread Peter Sevens (EF)
I have the same issue (using regular Ubuntu 20.04.3 w. KDE and XFCE
installed).

Using a workaround stops xfce4-notifyd from starting here:

mkdir -p ~/.local/share/dbus-1/services/
ln -s /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.kde.plasma.Notifications.service \
  ~/.local/share/dbus-1/services/org.kde.plasma.Notifications.service

[Bug 1558753] Re: AppArmor denying CUPS authentication against PAM on AD joined system (SSSD-based)

2019-09-18 Thread Peter Sevens (EF)
Hello,

I'm having the same issue in 18.04 as well, also fixed it by adding
`/var/lib/sss/pipes/private/pam wr,` to
`/etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.sbin.cupsd`.

Confirmed both the issue and fix on 2 different machines (both on 18.04)
and with 2 different AD accounts.
