[Bug 1551351] Re: dhclient does not renew leases
This is happening only if "Ethernet Lan Option Rom" is checked (active) in BIOS (ThinkPad X230). So there is the reason. I am affected with this bug too. First renew of IP is failing, after reconnect everything is ok until next reboot. Shutdown is often suspended for some time (always when shutdown is soon after start or reboot).
