I tested it as regular user. "type apt" command shows: "apt is /usr/local/bin/apt" "apt --version" shows: 1.15 Using root access nothing changed. I tried to launch synaptic to check apt version: it is 1.6.17 (?!?) and I discovered that apt command is located in /usr/bin ... so I made: >/usr/bin/apt list --installed without any error. The output is in attached >file apt-list--installed.txt . Now the question is: why have I two apt commands in two different directories? [Bug 1925678] [NEW] Shared object files are faulty, they don't contain all the definitions
Public bug reported: When I try do link against the shared library files from the libjsonnet0 package, a ton of definitions are missing, i.e. I get a huge amount of "undefined reference" errors. Coincidentally, the libjsonnet++.so.0.15.0 and libjsonnet.so.0.15.0 files installed with this package are just 23KB and 875KB in size, respectively, which is just a tiny fraction of the roughly 20MB I get for each of those files when I build from source, so something cannot be right here. [Bug 1501666] [NEW] xorg-server crashed at startup
Public bug reported: I installed linaro-vivid-alip-20150914-710 as rootfs on a iMX6 board, but Xserver crash at startup. The behaviour is the same for both 2:1.17.1-0ubuntu3 and 2:1.17.1-0ubuntu3.1 versions. Installing the debugging symbols I identified a NULL pointer in a strncmp call checking for pci devices (gdb log attached). Most likely no one experienced such a problem because there are a few armhf boards provide pcie support... Well.. afer taht I removed the AWN, completely. Back to Gnome.. The same issue! What I notice is that the shutdown start, few windows went close (skype for instance), then.. it seems it stop to continue to shutdown... At that point I can only use a command from the terminal like halt, shutdown, reboot... but I loose all the session configurations... Pse consider I have 2 more PC with Ubuntu and gnome: both are FINE!! 1 is a eeePC with 10.10 Remix 1 is a laptop, Asus, with 10.10, gnome, AWN (perfect!) but. it's a 32bit, not a 64 lie the main machine with all that troubles. I've always problem with gnome session (windows of the open applications are never at the right desktop when I restart) do you have other users logged in when you get the issue?
