[Bug 1714559] [NEW] package inn 1:1.7.2q-45 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

2017-09-01 Thread Prophet Samuel
Public bug reported:

Cannot install inn2, because in it's upgrading inn, & added
dependencies, it breaks inn - so in Synaptic, if I try to add inn2, it
then lists inn & inn2 as broken, but inn is not broken on it's own. It
says, with trying to install inn2, that with both inn2, and inn, becomes
broken because it can't resolve dependencies, I know when it was
originally trying to install/upgrade everything, originally, that it
listed inn not being configured as part of the problem. Don't know what
inn is/does, or even which program/package it got installed as a
"recommend" or dependency of.

[Bug 573957] Re: X server crashes randomly

2010-06-07 Thread Prophet
I have got KDE installed now (thanks to umbrello). But when I had this problem
for the first time I hadn't.
It seems my problem is diffrent from yours though, since I see in the logs that
the wrong password has been entered on TTY2. That made my X-server reset or
something.

[Bug 505809] [NEW] alt problem with blueproximity

2010-01-11 Thread Prophet
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: blueproximity

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System
- About Ubuntu.

9.10 Karmic Koala (2.6.31-17)

2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy
packagename' or by checking in Synaptic.

Version 1.2.5-4

3) What you expected to happen

Everything to act normal.

4) What happened instead

Programs acted as if I was repeatedly pressing alt (opening the menu for
instance in Open Office). This happened in virtual machines and in
Ubuntu. When I turned off blueproximity the problem was solved for me.
That's why I suppose it has something to do with blueproximity.
