Just installed kubuntu backports for Wily and now Docky will only run on
the desktop I start it on; typically it's pinned to every desktop. I
have 8 desktops on my PC (two rows of 4) and I use the pager applet on
Docky. If I launch on one desktop and switch to another,

torrents is attached to the PC using an X-Dock slot; essentially
removable media for 3.25" and 2.5" drives. The board they plug into are

Same Problem to me.
tried enabling vivid-proposed - but vivid-proposed does not offer a kernel
newer than 3.19.0-30.33

This occurs after I try to create multiple dvds in succession. It seems
to not happen after two, but the third attempt does hang at getting
size.
Immediately after I unmount the old disc from the desktop as described
in #7, it starts writing the new dvd.

I had the same problem. I unchecked Enable Color Management under
Preferences and it works just fine now. If you want you use color
management you need ICM profiles.

i also have this problem with a vanilla 2.6.24.3 self build kernel.
The funny thing is, if you open the System Monitor-Resource view, the
mouse is smooth, as soon you close the system monitor, synergy is more
or less not usable anymore.
The workaround running synergyc as root is also working
this problem still exists in the hardy heron packages
